My Vision & Mission
John P. Atwood is an experienced leader with the skills and work experience necessary to improve San Antonio for the taxpayers. His vision is a brighter future for San Antonio. John envisions a brighter future for San Antonio where the Mayor works with the community to provide solutions to our city’s most important issues. Balance the City Budget & Grow the Economy
Our city’s budget is on pace to expect at least a $10.6 million deficit over the next two years. We cannot afford for inexperience to lead our city. John P. Atwood is a former corporate accountant for a multibillion-dollar company.

Taxes in our city are high enough. We cannot afford for inexperience to lead our city. John P. Atwood is a specialist in taxation and a professor of taxation with experience representing businesses and individuals before the IRS and state tax authorities.

Biography
John P. Atwood is a candidate for Mayor of San Antonio with the experience our city must have to ensure we resolve our city’s important issues such as ensuring our city is safe, growing our economy and ensuring the city’s budget is balanced in order to resolve these important issues.
My Experience
John P. Atwood is an Enrolled Agent licensed by the United States Department of Treasury. John is also the founder of Business Master Tax Solutions. (www.businessmasteratwood.com) John has experience working for multiple Los Angeles, California tax firms preparing balance sheets, business profit and loss statements, financial statement analysis and working for a tax preparation office preparing corporate and individual tax returns.
Contribution To The Taxpayers
John has also helped hundreds of individuals and businesses who owe back taxes to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) while working at Tax Resolution Service which is now Roz Strategies. (www.rozstrategies.com) John also worked as a corporate accountant for the multi-billion dollar company Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s corporate office in Houston, Texas. John’s role included overseeing the financial management of all the corporation’s airport locations in the state of Texas and the financial management of the Houston, Texas truck rental operation.
My Duties
John’s corporate financial duties include experience preparing journal entries, adjusting entries, reconciling financial discrepancies, preparing cash flow statements, profit and loss statements, end-of-month financial statement preparation and financial analysis to name a few employment duties. When our Texas Operation Lone Star troops owed taxes to the IRS, John P. Atwood took charge of the tax issue on the border. The Texas Tribune
John is also an Adjunct Professor at Herzing University online where he teaches Business Law and Taxation. John also earned a law degree from Leeds Law School in England. John earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance from Keller Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).
